Newcastle University Islamic Society – in association / collaboration with ‘Islamic Diversity Centre [IDC]’ – present a series of thought-provoking and insightful Seminars, as part of their ‘Discover Islam Week 2010′ line-up:

“We are immersed in a digital age, where modern technology has taken over many aspects of our lives. It has led to various new discoveries and influences in science, technology, medicine and the way we socially interact with one another. As a result, it raised the questions, “Is God needed in this modern world?”, “Are these advancements shedding new light on how the Universe came into existence?”, “in this day and age, do we really need religion?”
